Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated blinds fitter to join our long standing family run business. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of window coverings, including blinds and shutters. Your expertise will help enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.
Training is provided for all aspects of the job over a 6 month period.
Overtime is available. Saturday work is available and optional.
Responsibilities
- Measure windows accurately to ensure proper fitment of blinds and window coverings
- Install a wide range of blinds, shutters, and shades using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing window coverings to extend their lifespan
- Collaborate with clients and team members to determine specific needs and preferences for each project
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during installation or repairs

Pay: From £26,550.00 per year
