We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Waking Night Support Worker. You will have the rewarding opportunity to support a lovely gentleman with learning disabilities and epilepsy, providing him with the care and assistance he needs during the night.
12 Hour Shifts working a pattern of 3 nights on 3 nights off, with additional hours available such as sickness and annual leave cover.
Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centered care and support throughout the night.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, medication administration, and daily living activities when required
- Monitoring and responding to any epilepsy-related concerns or emergencies.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of our service user at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any significant developments to the appropriate team members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A compassionate and patient approach to caring for individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
