The Crafty Fox Café Bar – Front of House / Bartender
Ipswich Town Centre | Part-Time approximately 20hrs a week with additional hours available to cover holidays.
The Crafty Fox is an independent café bar in the heart of Ipswich, serving speciality coffee, cocktails, craft beer, wine and a modern French-inspired food menu in a relaxed but professional environment.
Crafted cocktails and understanding of craft beer, coffee making and presentation are an important part of our brand, and we are looking for somebody who takes genuine pride in creating consistently high-quality drinks and customer experiences.
We are looking for a warm, confident and reliable team member who genuinely enjoys hospitality and thrives within a professional, customer-focused environment.
This role would suit somebody who:
- Has a naturally friendly and positive personality
- Is professional, calm and well-presented
- Barista experience preferred; latte art is an advantage
- Experience working behind a bar essential and cocktail experience preferred
- Takes pride in quality, presentation and attention to detail
- Works well within a team environment
- Is comfortable working in a busy customer-facing environment
- Enjoys coffee, food, wine, cocktails and hospitality culture
- Can communicate confidently with customers and colleagues alike
Previous experience in hospitality is essential as we are looking for someone who can confidently step into a busy service environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing cocktails to a high standard
- Preparing speciality coffee consistently to our house standards
- Customer service and table service
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Supporting smooth day-to-day service
- Helping create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere within the venue
