Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently.
- Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times during food preparation and service.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experienceis preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safetystandards and procedures is desirable.
- Experience in servingcustomers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Good basic mathsskills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time managementskills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
