We’re seeking a highly motivated and organised team member to join as our Customer Experience and Digital Assistant, primarily for Winter Glow.

About Winter Glow: Winter Glow’s the region's largest multi-attraction event based at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern. With the Illuminated Light Trail, Ice Skating, UV Glow Crazy Golf and Father Christmas Experience thousands of visitors attend each year to experience the festive magic.
What do we want?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working team member to work as a Customer Experience and Digital Assistant and make this varied and dynamic role their own. With your ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads, you will ensure the timely fulfilment through your excellent communication and listening skills of all customer service enquiries and support and assist the team to help across all areas of the business.
Duties will include, but are not exclusive to:
Customer service:
- Delivering, high-quality, effective and conscientious customer service & ticket enquiries via email, phone and social platforms
- Processing bookings from schools, corporates, private hire and large groups
- Managing the on-site lost property process
Ticketing:
- Processing applications for our complimentary carer ticket pass scheme
- Use the back office of our ticketing platform to process influencer requests, solve customer queries and customer processes should the event have to close due to bad weather/unforeseen circumstances
Marketing:
- Assisting our Digital Marketing Manager with creation of social media content, scheduling and support with Mailchimp planning and execution
Admin support:
- Managing & maintaining general enquires received in the office across all areas of the business both via email and phone
- Fulfilling Christmas Eve Box orders and managing customer collections on site
- Ad hoc creation of paperwork and templates, event passes, databases, sending invoices and reconciling receipts
We think you’ll be a great fit if you:
Ideal:
- You have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within the events / customer service / retail industry
Essential:
- Have effective and personable customer service skills
- Have resilience to navigate difficult customer queries in a tactful and professional approach
- Have strong communication and organisational skills, plus excellent attention to detail
- Can prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively
- Can work well independently and within a team
- Aren’t afraid to hit the ground running and have a knack for mucking in across the team and business where needed
- Can use a Mac to a high standard, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excel at taking responsibility for the ownership of tasks
- Come with a positive attitude, and plenty of initiative
The Important Bit:
- Location: Based in our HQ in Bentham, Cheltenham. You will also need to be on location at events where necessary, and this role involve some evening and weekend hours during Winter Glow in November & December.
- Reports to: Project Manager
- Contract: October – January, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: October 2026
- Salary: £25,500 pro rata
