Job Summary
Kenect Recruitment are looking for X2 skilled Sprayers and a Vehicle Prepper to join our clients team in Blackbushe, Camberley.
Our client is the largest car auction company in the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying coatings, paints, or finishes to various vehicles, ensuring high-quality results that meet our standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Sprayer will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our products.
Overviw
Shifts: 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. (Also weekend work 1 Weekend in 3)
Start: ASAP – Interviews will be arranged as soon as possible
Pay: £20.02 per hour
Contract Length: Continuously ongoing work. Moving over to a permanent role for the right person.
Must have own spray gun.
Priority Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Prepper
- Full valid UK driving licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars (essential)
Responsibilities
- Paint preparation of the vehicle – masking and prepping if required
- Spray painting required vehicles using water based paints
- Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match
- Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
Skills and expertise
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
