Careround24 is a growing homecare provider in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Home Carers to join our friendly and supportive team.
What you'll be doing:
As a Home Carer with Careround24, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and well-being. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Preparing and serving meals and assisting with feeding.
- Administering medication (following appropriate training and guidelines).
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with light household tasks, such as tidying and laundry.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities.
- Observing and reporting any changes in clients' health or well-being.
- Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Working flexibly to meet the individual needs of our clients.
What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for caring for others and a desire to make a positive impact.
- Patience, empathy, and a respectful attitude towards clients.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are desirable due to the geographical spread of our clients.
- Previous experience in a care setting is beneficial, but not always essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
