We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English teacher to join us in supporting GCSE and A Level students, primarily through one-to-one teaching and very small classes. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who values personalised learning and enjoys helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
The successful candidate will hold an honours degree in English or a closely related subject, together with several years’ teaching experience. Experience of working in a small college, sixth-form or similar setting would be an advantage.
The ability to teach an additional subject, particularly A Level History or Politics, would also be warmly welcomed.
Initially, we anticipate offering approximately 6–10 hours of teaching per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on student enrolments.
