Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager / Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service during shifts
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards
- Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with food production and kitchen operations as needed, including serving customers when required
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment in line with health and safety policies
- Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and special events
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience in team management, leadership, and staff development
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and hospitality standards
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen experience preferred
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
