Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our new dynamic studio! Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and desired outcomes
- Design custom tattoo artwork that aligns with clients’ visions and studio standards
- Prepare skin by cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and setting up workstations for each session
- Execute tattoos with precision using professional tattooing equipment while maintaining strict hygiene protocols
- Provide excellent guest services by explaining procedures, aftercare instructions, and addressing client questions
- Manage appointment schedules, walk-in clients, and maintain an organized studio environment
- Promote studio services through social media management and community engagement efforts
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massage when appropriate
- Assist at the front desk with customer inquiries, bookings, and payment processing
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming studio environment in compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional tattoo artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and health & safety standards in tattooing
- Management skills to oversee appointments, studio operations, and client relations
- Experience in social media management to promote work and attract new clients
- Customer service expertise to ensure positive guest experiences from consultation to aftercare
- Skills in additional beauty or wellness services such as eyelash extensions or makeup application are a plus
- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling and payment processing
- Background in hospitality or barbering is advantageous for creating a welcoming atmosphere
