An exciting opportunity has become available for a Nursing Support Worker/Administrator within the Sexual and Reproductive Health Service.
Our busy, friendly team provide a range of services including complex contraception, management of sexually transmitted infections and a pregnancy advisory service.
We are a paper free service with electronic patient records.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Nursing Support Worker/Administrator who is happy to work flexible hours to meet service needs.
This dual role post is for 15 hours per week based in Carmarthen. Regular cover at our Llanelli clinic will be required along with occasional cover in Pembrokeshire / Ceredigion.
The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of a high standard of cost-effective nursing care, as part of a nursing team, in support of and under the guidance and delegation of the Team leader or designated representative.
Following appropriate training and assessment undertake specific clinical interventions as delegated by the registered nurse.
Support patients during genital examinations and procedures including ultrasound scans and termination of pregnancy care / procedures.
The post-holder within their administrative role will also provide a range of administrative and secretarial duties including filing of clinical and non-clinical correspondence.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
