Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators to assist with various earthmoving and site preparation tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial driving to contribute to large-scale projects in a safe and efficient manner. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working in dynamic environments, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
Ok Duties
- Operate excavators to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment prior to use, identifying any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with site clearance, grading, and excavation activities according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any operational concerns promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment on-site as required.

Qualifications
Must have Cpcs/ Npors card
Must have right to work in uk
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machinery.
- Valid commercial driving licence, with experience in operating large vehicles or lorries preferred.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding conditions.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
