Early Years Leader – After School Club

Are you a passionate Early Years professional looking for a rewarding part-time role?
Junior Adventures Group is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Leader to join our friendly team at our After School Club based at St Helen's Primary School in Northwood.
Working with Nursery and Reception-aged children, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can play, learn and thrive at the end of the school day.
Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification – Essential
This role requires a Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised for working within the EYFS in England, as you will be working with Nursery and Reception-aged children.
Please note: Qualifications such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not meet the essential requirements for this position.

About the Role
As the Early Years Leader, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of our After School Club, ensuring every child enjoys a safe, welcoming and enriching experience.
You'll plan engaging activities, support children's learning through play, promote positive behaviour and create a stimulating environment where every child feels valued and included.
You'll also work closely with your team, parents and the school to ensure the club operates to the highest standards of care, safeguarding and Early Years practice.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the daily operation of the After School Club.

Plan and deliver engaging EYFS-based activities.

Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play.

Supervise and inspire team members.

Ensure compliance with the EYFS Framework, safeguarding and health & safety requirements.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and school staff.

Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.

Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.
What We're Looking For

Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).

Experience working within an Early Years setting.

Leadership or supervisory experience (desirable).

A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A positive, proactive and caring approach.

A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun.
