Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in food production, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Learn and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safe and quality food delivery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication
- Assist in plating dishes attractively and serving food efficiently to guests
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating leadership qualities and supervising junior staff when needed
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key
- Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
