Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman/Site Manager to join our expanding team.
We deliver groundworks and civil engineering projects typically valued between £50,000 and £500,000 for commercial and residential clients across the Midlands and South West (Including projects across the UK as required).
The role
- Manage day-to-day site operations.
- Lead groundworks gangs and subcontractors.
- Plan works to achieve programme targets.
- Order materials and plant.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and housekeeping.
- Liaise professionally with clients, engineers and suppliers.
- Complete daily site records using digital systems.
- Help develop and improve company procedures and site processes.
- Job role Includes a company van if required.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, RC works, kerbing, paving and external works.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- CSCS.
- First Aid (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
