Workshop Operative / Staircase Assembler – Woodworking
Job Description
We are a well-established staircase manufacturing company based in Harlow, supplying high-quality timber staircases across London and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two hardworking and reliable workshop operatives to join our busy staircase manufacturing department.
This is a full-time, permanent position working in a fast-paced workshop producing bespoke timber staircases.
Key Duties
The role will include a variety of tasks within the staircase department, including:
- Staircase assembly
- Cutting timber and preparing staircase components
- General woodworking and joinery work
- Assisting with CNC machine operations (training provided)
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting other workshop tasks when required
Experience
- Experience in woodworking, joinery, manufacturing, or staircase production is preferred.
- However, hardworking and reliable individuals willing to learn will also be considered, as full training can be provided.

Pay & Hours
- Starting from £12.80 per hour – higher rate depending on experience
- 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm)
- Overtime available during busy periods
