Job Title: Storage Operations Assistant (Part Time)
Location: Brownhills, West Midlands
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Hours & Schedule:
- 10 hours per week (2 shifts of 5 hours). The shifts will either be 8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm
- Additional shifts when required to cover holidays or sickness
- Plus an additional 5 hours on one in four Saturdays

We are looking for a proactive and versatile Storage Operations Assistant who enjoys a hands-on role balancing customer service with active site upkeep.
Role Overview:
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. Based at our Brownhills facility, you will be the face of the business—helping customers find the right storage solutions while ensuring our physical site remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Welcoming visitors, assisting clients with moving in or out of the facility, and receiving deliveries on behalf of customers.
- Enquiry Management: Answering incoming phone calls and emails, addressing client queries, and processing customer payments.
- Sales & Administration: Guiding new customers through the sign-up process and accurately completing the required paperwork.
- Site Upkeep & Care: Carrying out facility walks, maintaining overall cleanliness, and handling basic physical maintenance tasks to keep the site safe.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Comfortable handling basic maintenance, light physical work such as cutting the grass, and other active on-site tasks.
- Ability to work effectively and independently within a small team environment.
- A forklift truck licence/experience is highly advantageous (but not strictly required).
