- Keep accurate, reflective records and complete effective shift handovers.
- Administer medication, manage petty cash responsibly and ensure safety checks are completed.
- Drive company vehicles to transport young people to school, appointments, and activities.
- Work collaboratively with your team, attend meetings and training, and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Qualifications: Must hold, or be enrolled to complete within 2 years, the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare(or equivalent).
- Compliance Checks: An Enhanced DBS check and a full, verified employment history are mandatory.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for effective reporting and building rapport with young people and external professionals.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a rota that includes early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Desirable Qualities
- Full UK Driving Licence. (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a residential childcare or mental health setting.
- Training in specific de-escalation techniques (e.g., Team Teach)
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques for clients with special needs or cognitive impairments
Schedule of different shifts throughout the week:
- Rotating 2 week rota
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Bank Staff

Pay: £12.96-£14.00 per hour
