The Bar Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and high standards across the venue. They will lead the bar team, maintain compliance with licensing and health & safety requirements, and support the General Manager in delivering a welcoming and profitable club.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the bar.
- Lead, motivate and supervise the bar team.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe and well-presented.
- Manage stock, ordering, deliveries and stock control.
- Monitor cash handling and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety and Challenge 25 procedures.
- Support the smooth delivery of events and busy trading periods.
- Train and develop staff to maintain high service standards.
- Report operational issues, customer feedback and staffing matters to the General Manager.
Skills & Experience
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service focus.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of licensing and health & safety requirements.
Rate negotiable for the right candidate.
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
