Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial / residential premises. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service delivery.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
