Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks across the communal parts of our houses in multiple occupation. ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere for our residnets through diligent cleaning practices and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to promote health and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures according to company protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and supply usage as required.
Experience
- Previous House of multiple occupation cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning across all areas.
- Reliable attendance record with a proactive approach to completing assigned tasks efficiently.
