HMP Long Lartin have an exciting opportunity for an Outreach Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Lecturer who can support prisoners who are working within the prison workshops and other outreach areas, to increase their skills and, if possible, gain accreditation. Alongside this, you will also support prisoners to build the confidence and skills they can use to apply for employment upon release.
As an Outreach Tutor you will also work closely with other prison departments, officers and workshop instructors to promote and support the implementation of the prison’s Reading Strategy as well as to gain the best overall outcomes for our learners.
