The Yashchenko Foundation is a UK and Ukraine-registered humanitarian charity delivering emergency medical support, humanitarian aid, evacuations and recovery programmes for communities affected by war.
As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and reliable Executive & Operations Administrator to help support our UK operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, thrives on organisation and wants to use their skills to support meaningful humanitarian work. The role is fully remote, highly flexible and offers the opportunity to grow with a rapidly developing international charity.
About the role:
Working closely with the Founder & Executive Director, you will help keep the UK side of the charity running smoothly by providing high-quality administrative and organisational support.
No two days are the same. One day you may be coordinating a Board meeting, the next preparing documents for a donor meeting, helping organise a fundraising event or processing invoices.
Location: Remote (United Kingdom), with occasional travel to London and events as required
Salary: €10,000-£12,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 10 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, part-time employee
What you'll be doing:
1. Coordinate Board meetings, including scheduling, agendas and meeting papers.
2. Take meeting minutes and monitor follow-up actions.
3. Manage diaries, emails and general administrative tasks.
4. Support banking administration, invoices and financial record keeping. Liaise with accountants and other external service providers.
5. Maintain organisational records and internal tracking systems.
6. Support communication with donors, supporters and partners.
7. Help organise fundraising events and meetings.
8. Prepare presentations, briefing papers and supporting documents.
9. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Director.
We're looking for someone who:
Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Has excellent written and spoken English.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Can manage their own workload and work independently.
Is reliable, proactive and professional.
Is comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.
Has previous administration, executive assistant or office support experience (preferred, but not essential).
