About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistants to join our front-of-house team. You will be the face of our restaurant, bar, and events spaces. Your main role will be to welcome guests, take orders, serve delicious food and drinks, and ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service from the moment they sit down.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Welcome guests warmly, present menus, and make recommendations for food and drinks.
- Order & Service: Accurately take guest orders and serve food, afternoon teas, and beverages promptly.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup and service of weddings, private parties, and corporate banquets.
- Cleanliness: Clear and set tables quickly, maintain a clean dining environment, and follow strict hygiene standards.
- Payment Handling: Process cash and card payments accurately using our electronic point of sale (EPOS) system.
About You
- Attitude: A warm, friendly, and approachable personality with a genuine passion for looking after people.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to chat with guests and team members.
- Pace: Able to work efficiently and stay positive during busy breakfast, lunch, Sunday lunch, or evening dinner rushes.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Experience: Previous waiting or bar experience not essential as full training is provided!
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
