Are you newly free from full-time work or transitioning out of work and looking for a rewarding way to spend your free time?
We are RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool and South Shields and it's our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our volunteers are incredible, they play an essential role in helping us carry out our important work every day.
Our shop in Chester Le Street plays a vital role in raising the profile of the RSPCA in the local community and raising much needed funds for our local, independant branch so that we can continue our important animal welfare work in our community. Our community hub shop sells a mixture of donated items including clothes, books, bric-a-brac and collectables, and a selection of new items.
We have positions available on the shop floor and in our stock room or you could do a combination of both.
Ideally 8hrs per week.
