About Juice & Blend
Juice & Blend is a fresh, health-focused food and juice business based in Battersea. We are looking for an experienced Food Preparation & All-Rounder to join our team and play an important role in the day-to-day running of the business.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on food preparation, while also supporting our juicing and front-of-house operations when required.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality food to our required standards. You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
You will also need to be flexible and willing to support other areas of the business, including juicing and front of house, depending on the needs of the business and your agreed working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing fresh food including quinoa, pasta bowls, salads, fuel bowls and other menu items
- Preparing, weighing and portioning ingredients
- Ensuring food is prepared consistently and to a high standard
- Supporting with fresh juices and smoothies
- Preparing ingredients for daily service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Following food safety, storage and stock rotation procedures
- Keeping the kitchen and preparation areas clean, organised and fully stocked
- Monitoring ingredients and reporting low stock or wastage
- Supporting front-of-house operations when required
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly customer service
- Maintaining a clean and professional shop environment
- Working effectively as part of a small team
- Being flexible and supporting the business wherever required
About You
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant food preparation/kitchen experience
- Previous experience working in a food business, café, restaurant, juice bar or similar environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling
- Confident preparing fresh food in a busy environment
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
- Flexible and willing to work across food preparation, juicing and front of house
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Please note: 2 years’ minimum relevant experience is essential for this position.
