Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join Roskells Pharmacy in our welcoming setting. This role is vital in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care and support. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of community health and well-being working Saturday mornings .
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide expert advice on medication use, potential interactions, and health management.
- Support patient care initiatives by offering personalized consultations.
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical practices and regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide Pharmacy First.
- Flu, Covid and Meningitis B Vaccinations
- Qualifications
- Qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably with community-based practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medication administration , Proscript , and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience with ICU settings is advantageous but not essential.
- Passion for community health and patient education.
