Every role contributes to that mission. As a Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming, comfortable environment that supports visitors as they learn, explore, and connect with nature.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll help keep our visitor spaces clean, tidy, and ready for guests. This includes:

Cleaning and preparing bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas

Making beds, replenishing towels, and restocking tea/coffee facilities

Keeping public areas tidy, safe, and welcoming

Setting up the dining room for mealtimes
-
Supporting our kitchen team with food preparation and service
-
Helping keep dining and refreshment areas clean and stocked
You’ll be part of a team that works together to keep the centre running smoothly, we value team members who are happy to help wherever they’re needed.
Where you’ll be based
Situated on the Isle of Cumbrae, our Millport centre overlooks the Firth of Clyde and is just a short distance from the town centre and seafront. Surrounded by the island’s beautiful coastal scenery, beaches and waterfront, it offers a unique backdrop to everyday working life.
The centre hosts a wide range of visitors throughout the year, encouraging creativity, curiosity and connection with nature. With its welcoming atmosphere and stunning island setting, Millport is an interesting and rewarding place to work, where no two days are quite the same.
