We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food output
- Manage food production processes, including portion control and waste minimisation
- Oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Lead menu planning, development, and innovation to enhance customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Train new team members in food preparation, safety standards, and service protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly advantageous
- Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Experience in menu development and creative culinary presentation is preferred
