This full-time permanent position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13 to £15. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency by supporting various accountancy functions and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by verifying data accuracy and reconciling accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and corporate governance requirements.
- Prepare routine reports and summaries for management review.
- Identify and highlight discrepancies or irregularities in financial data, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English; A-levels or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance preferred.
- Previous experience in an accountancy or finance role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
