Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. Duties
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve departmental goals
- Organise and delegate daily tasks to ensure smooth operational flow
- Monitor team performance through regular feedback and coaching sessions
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained
- Manage sales targets and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Handle customer queries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to staff schedules, sales figures, and inventory levels
- Conduct training sessions for new staff members and organise ongoing professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or supervisory roles, preferably within retail or sales environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and scheduling
- Professional phone etiquette and organisational skills essential for customer interactions and team coordination
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
