We are seeking a dependable, detail‑focused team member to join our print shop. This position blends creative design tasks with customer interaction, supporting clients with their artwork and ensuring their print orders move smoothly through production.
About the Role
- Prepare artwork for print, including checking layouts, colours, bleed, and file accuracy.
- Review customer files and resolve issues such as low resolution, missing elements, or incorrect formats.
- Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, and by email to confirm details, provide quotes, and answer questions.
- Assist with daily print production by operating equipment, organising finished jobs, and monitoring quality.
- Record job details, customer notes, and workflow updates clearly and accurately.
- Maintain a tidy, organised workspace to support efficient production.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Confident use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of print layout, colour, and technical requirements.
- Friendly, clear communication skills with a professional approach.
- Ability to stay organised and handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn print machinery and production processes.
- Previous experience in a print or design environment is helpful but not essential.
