About the role
Sytner BMW Tamworth is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Bodyshop MET Technician to join our experienced Bodyshop team.
You don't need previous Bodyshop experience. What matters to us is your attitude, your willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing a career in the automotive industry.
As an apprentice, you'll combine structured learning with real, hands-on experience, working alongside skilled technicians and learning the techniques and technology involved in repairing some of the most advanced vehicles on the road.
During your apprenticeship, you'll develop practical skills including:
Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
Supporting the repair of vehicles following accident damage
Learning how modern vehicle electrical and safety systems operate
Using specialist tools, diagnostic equipment and repair technology
Following BMW repair methods and manufacturer standards
Inspecting your work and developing a real eye for quality
Working alongside experienced Paint, Panel and MET Technicians
Understanding how a professional Bodyshop works from start to finish
You'll be learning from people who know the job inside out, with support throughout your apprenticeship as your knowledge, confidence and ability grow.
About you
Has a genuine interest in cars, engineering or automotive technology
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Is curious and likes understanding how things work
Has good attention to detail
Takes pride in doing things properly
Is reliable, positive and willing to learn

What will we give you?
Quite simply, the opportunity to earn while you learn and build a career with one of the UK's leading automotive retail groups.
Alongside your apprenticeship training, you'll gain experience working in a professional BMW Bodyshop environment with modern vehicles, specialist equipment and experienced colleagues around you.
