We are looking for a House Keeper to join our Nursery family.
Casterton Nursery is located within the beautiful grounds of Casterton College Rutland. For over twenty years, we have provided high-quality early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
We are extremely motivated about the early years education we provide at Casterton. We believe children are innately curious and this is a great way for children to learn and develop. We believe children can be and do whatever they set their mind on, they most definitely reach the stars!
Responsibilities will include:
- To promote a clean and hygienic environment for both children and staff.
- To work as part of a team, where necessary and contribute to the high standards at Casterton Nursery.
- To promote an atmosphere of professionalism at all time.
- To be aware of the Health and Safety Policy of the Nursery and College and to follow them at all times.
- To assist with the security and maintenance of the building and equipment within the buildings.
- To keep the Nursery and Preschool clean and tidy.
- To mop and hoover floors.
- To clean and tidy the Nursery and Preschool kitchen.
- To clean and tidy the Nursery and Preschool staffroom.
- To give the Nursery and Preschool a deep clean once a year.
- To carry out any other reasonable responsibilities and duties as required by Management.
- To be respectful towards other staff members and show professionalism at all times.
