St Catherines Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Therapy Team as a dedicated Therapy Assistant, supporting patients across the Inpatient Unit (IPU), Wellbeing Centre, and within the community.
This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Please note, the successful candidate will be an essential car user, therefore candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
About You:

This dynamic and rewarding role offers the opportunity to work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and the wider Wellbeing Team to deliver high-quality palliative rehabilitative care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of therapeutic interventions, contributing to service development, and ensuring patients receive holistic, person-centred care across a variety of settings.
Therapy Assistant role involves:

Providing graded therapeutic intervention for individual patients to maintain orimprove function.

To undertake assessments and treatments for patients that have been screened by a therapist.

Develop rapport with patients and encourage participation in amanner which promotes dignity, self-esteem, and choice.
