Music Teacher Jobs in Liverpool – September Starts
Zen Educate is currently recruiting Music Teachers for a number of secondary schools across the Liverpool area. We have recently started working with several multi-academy trusts across the city, each with multiple schools, and we are supporting them with their Music department recruitment for the new academic year.
We are currently looking for 5 Music Teachers across our different partner schools in Liverpool.
To be considered for these Music Teacher roles, applicants must either hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
These Music Teacher roles are ideal for qualified teachers who are looking for a September start and would like the opportunity to be considered for multiple schools through one application process.
Because Zen Educate is working with a number of trusts across Liverpool, each successful Music Teacher applicant may have the opportunity to interview or trial at more than one school. This gives you the chance to meet different Music departments, visit different school settings, and find the role that is the best fit for you.
Trials and interviews for these Music Teacher positions will be taking place throughout June and July, with successful placements starting in September.
The Role
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Music lessons to secondary school pupils. Depending on the school and timetable, you may be teaching Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students with performance, composition, listening, appraisal, music theory, music technology and exam preparation.
The successful Music Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support pupils of different abilities, contribute to the wider Music or Performing Arts department, and help students develop confidence, creativity, musical knowledge and practical performance skills.
Each school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations in the classroom, and contribute to a positive, inclusive and creative learning environment.
