Day Lewis Woodley is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our friendly, hardworking team.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our co-owner and resident Pharmacist Manager, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the fast-moving world of community pharmacy. Based in a busy 20,000-item pharmacy, no two days are the same. As a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser, you'll play an important role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring patients receive safe, efficient and professional care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Supporting the Pharmacist Manager and wider team with daily pharmacy operations
- Providing excellent customer service at the counter and over the telephone
- Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services
- Building strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries and local healthcare professionals
- Maintaining high standards of organisation, professionalism and compliance
- Contributing positively to a busy team focused on outstanding patient care
Working within a high-volume pharmacy means you'll quickly develop valuable skills and experience across all areas of community pharmacy.
You'll also have the opportunity to work directly alongside a highly experienced co-owner Pharmacist Manager, providing a unique learning environment that can help accelerate your development and understanding of the profession.
