Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Mcwilliam Household. In this role, you will provide essential support to one individual, helping him with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
This is a 2 day & 1 wakened overnight permanent post plus extra to cover sickness/holidays
Shift pattern 8am - 8pm & 8pm - 8am
Responsibilities
- Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by helping with daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with client and their families to ensure needs are met.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive client to appointments or social outings as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A valid driving license is a necessity.
