Job Title: Workshop Commercial Painter - Forklift Truck
Salary: c£38K Dependent on experience + Pension + Life Cover + Holiday Allocation

An excellent opportunity has arisen at our Somerset depot for a Workshop Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Sand, mask, degrease, and prime forklift chassis and components.
- Cosmetic Spraying: Apply industrial paints using spray guns.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough examinations and safety checks post-refurbishment.
- Parts Management: Track stock levels for mechanical components and paint supplies.
Requirements & Skills
- Painting Expertise: Experience with industrial spray painting and body preparation.
- Certifications: Recognised qualification in engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Detail Oriented: Ability to spot mechanical faults and paint finish imperfections.
- Safety Aware: Strict adherence to COSHH, PPE, and extraction booth regulations.
Working Conditions
- Workshop-based role with dedicated servicing bays and ventilated paint booths.
- Physical work involving heavy lifting, bending, and working at heights.
