What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Support pupils with their learning and encourage a positive classroom environment.
- Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues.
What We're Looking For
✔ Experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, youth work, tutoring or similar)
✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔ A positive, adaptable and professional approach
✔ An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ The right to work in the UK
