We are looking for a stylist who is creative, experienced, fashion-forward and client-focused, with the ability to deliver luxury salon standards.
Position: Senior Hair Stylist
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience + commission opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver exceptional cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services.
- Provide expert consultations tailored to each client’s hair type, lifestyle and desired look.
- Specialise in European hair textures, precision cutting, balayage, highlights, blonding and modern styling techniques.
- Work with Aveda professional colour and products to deliver high-quality results.
- Maintain a high level of client care and professionalism at all times.
- Build and maintain a strong returning client base.
- Keep up to date with current trends, techniques and fashion-led styles.
- Support and mentor junior team members when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional workstation in line with salon standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working as a Senior Hair Stylist in a busy salon.
- Highly skilled in:
- Precision cutting
- Colouring, balayage and highlights
- Blow-drying and styling
- Colour correction
- Experience with Aveda products is an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Strong consultation and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver consistent high-quality results.
- Professional, reliable and well presented.
- Passion for hair, creativity and continuous learning.
Social Media & Brand Presence
- Comfortable creating before & after hair content for Instagram.
- Ability to help promote your work and the salon through social media presence.
- Confident showcasing your portfolio and building your personal client following.
