Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Native Part Time Arabic Teacher to join our educational team at the weekend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Arabic, with experience working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons tailored to students’ age and proficiency levels
- Develop customised lesson plans that incorporate cultural elements and language skills
- Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities in Arabic
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, including those with special educational requirements
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain organised records of lesson plans, attendance, and student achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Arabic as a second language
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey language concepts to learners of varying ages and abilities
- Experience working with children and understanding of child development principles
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with additional learning needs
- Excellent organisational skills for planning lessons and tracking student progress
- Ability to create engaging, culturally relevant content that motivates students to learn Arabic effectively
