Location: Harlow, Essex
Hours: Saturdays, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our team in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching swimming and helping children and adults develop confidence and essential water safety skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, safe, and enjoyable swimming lessons.
- Teach swimmers of varying ages and abilities in line with the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.
- Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe learning environment by following all health and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Complete lesson registers and any required administrative tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, energetic, and professional approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
- Previous experience teaching group swimming lessons.
- National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or an equivalent lifesaving qualification.
- First Aid qualification.
