We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual for a mobile supervisory cleaning role across commercial sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and supervising a team of cleaning staff. Key Responsibilities
- Emergency shift cover at short notice
- On-site supervision and quality control
- Training and onboarding of new cleaning operatives
- Supporting new client site setups
- Conducting spot checks and reporting standards
Essential Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience in commercial environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce standards
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Good communication and reliability under pressure
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Pattern:
- Flexible, approx. 16–20+ hours per week initially
- Potential for increase based on performance
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across multiple sites
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards and client expectations
- Manage scheduling, allocate resources, and monitor team performance
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control
- Train new staff and provide ongoing support to existing team members
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain health and safety compliance in all cleaning activities
- Assist in developing operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is essential
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively
