We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Dual Site Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of our Glasgow Central and Buchanan Street stores. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to make a real impact across two of our flagship city centre locations.
The Role
As a Dual Site Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Managers to lead both stores, driving commercial performance while creating an exceptional customer experience. You'll play a key role in developing teams, delivering operational excellence, and ensuring both stores consistently meet MINISO's high standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll inspire your teams, support daily operations, and help deliver outstanding results across both locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Managers in the day-to-day leadership of both stores.
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales performance by achieving KPIs including Sales, ATV, ATU and Conversion.
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.
- Ensure stock accuracy, deliveries and replenishment are completed efficiently.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of new colleagues.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to develop your team.
- Monitor labour costs, productivity and store profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Health & Safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Take ownership of either store in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Build a positive, engaging and high-performing culture across both locations.
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about leading people and delivering results.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or equivalent retail management role.
- A proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering sales and KPI targets.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence in managing store operations and making decisions independently.
- Experience with visual merchandising and stock management.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and retail systems.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance.
- Flexibility to work across both Glasgow Central and Buchanan Street stores.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings (up to 9:30pm) and occasional overnight shifts (21:00–06:00) when required.
