What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with the Managing Director and Group Head of Finance to shape and deliver Brusco's Finance strategy.
- Leading, developing and coaching a small, busy Finance team.
- Cashflow forecasting, analysis and support for cash management.
- Creation of monthly management accounts (profit and loss, gross margin analysis, balance sheet) and provision of insightful commentary and analysis.
- Managing stock costings.
- Leading forecasts and budgeting activities.
- Overseeing monthly payroll.
- Managing monthly VAT returns.
- Preparing and posting monthly journals.
- Reconciliations and analysing variances.
- Acting as a commercial Finance business partner as part of the senior leadership team.
What You'll Bring
- Relevant experience, with ideally 2 years as Finance Manager.
- Professional accounting qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience in managing a team, supporting, coaching and driving team performance.
- Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Relevant manufacturing sector experience including stock costing and reconciliations.
- Accustomed to dealing with competing demands from various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, experience with accounting systems and ideally AI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an inclusive and collaborative approach.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary: £45-55K gross per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: 3 days per week in Brusco Head Office in Offenham, Evesham + homeworking
