Join Our Events Team - SVS Productions
We are an established Audio Visual events company based in NW10, London, and we are looking for a motivated and reliable Event Crew Member to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role working across a wide variety of live events throughout London, including weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, private parties, and more. You'll be involved in the delivery, setup, operation, and pack-down of professional audio visual equipment, helping to ensure every event runs smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading equipment vans
- Delivering AV equipment to venues across London
- Setting up sound systems, lighting, and other event equipment
- Preparing and testing equipment in the warehouse before events
- Assisting with onsite team leadership when required
- Communicating professionally with clients and venue staff
- Packing down equipment after events and returning it to the warehouse
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to develop new skills
- Living within a reasonable travelling distance of NW10
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good spoken English and strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous events, production, or AV experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
Working Hours
This is not a standard 9–5 position. Working hours are flexible and vary depending on event schedules.
The role may involve:
- Early morning starts
- Late finishes
- Weekend work
- Longer hours during busy event periods
During quieter periods, you may have multiple days off while still receiving your full weekly pay.
The majority of work is based around events and venues within London.
