What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an Apprentice, you are the heartbeat of the salon floor. Your role will involve:
Welcoming clients, taking coats, and serving refreshments to ensure a luxury experience.
Providing relaxing shampooing, conditioning, and head massage treatments at the backwash.
Assisting stylists with mixing colors, preparing foils, and prepping sections.
Maintaining salon presentation by keeping styling stations clean, washing/folding towels, and sweeping hair.
Attending college or in-salon training days and consistently building your portfolio.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
No previous salon experience is necessary, but you must bring the right attitude:
Passion for Hair & Fashion: You follow trends and genuinely care about the hair and beauty industry.
People Person: Excellent communication skills. You are confident talking to clients and making them feel welcome.
Energy & Initiative: A busy salon requires you to stay on your feet, work fast, and spot what needs doing next.
Presentation: You take pride in your own appearance and present yourself professionally.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to both salon hours and your college work.
