CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL
Prime Care & Domestic Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated, discreet and caring Domestic Cleaner / Sitter to provide high-quality domestic and support services within clients’ own homes. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also providing companionship, sitting services and assistance with shopping where required.
The role requires reliability, professionalism, compassion and respect for each client’s privacy, dignity, choices and independence. Previous domestic, care, hotel or commercial cleaning experience is desirable, although not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine domestic cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing and disinfecting surfaces.
- Clean and maintain kitchens and bathrooms and sanitise fixtures.
- Carry out additional domestic tasks where required, including oven cleaning, upholstery/carpet spot cleaning and window cleaning.
- Provide sitting and companionship services, offering reassurance and social interaction to clients within their own homes.
- Provide assisted shopping, including accompanying clients to the shops or completing agreed shopping tasks on their behalf.
- Support clients to remain as independent as possible while respecting their individual choices and preferences.
- Respect clients’ homes, belongings, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow individual client instructions and agreed support requirements.
- Report any concerns regarding a client's wellbeing to the appropriate person within Prime Care & Domestic Services.
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide a friendly, reliable and person-centred service.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
