World Fuel is seeking a Senior Supply Operations Manager to lead aviation fuel supply operations across France, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Reporting to the European Operations Director, you will be responsible for optimizing regional fuel supply networks, driving operational performance, managing strategic supplier relationships, and supporting commercial growth across a portfolio of airport locations.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced supply, logistics, fuel, aviation, or commodities professional who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and enjoys balancing operational excellence with business growth.

Lead aviation fuel supply operations across France, the UK, and Ireland.

Develop and execute regional supply strategies that optimize profitability, operational efficiency, and customer service.

Analyze market conditions, supply and demand trends, and operational performance to identify opportunities for value creation.

Support commercial growth initiatives by providing supply chain solutions, cost analysis, and operational expertise.

Collaborate with commercial, pricing, and risk teams to support informed business decisions.

Oversee fuel inventory management across airport locations within the region.

Ensure reliable fuel availability while optimizing working capital and storage utilization.

Monitor regional logistics networks, transportation routes, and supply infrastructure.

Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Support spot purchasing and inventory balancing activities when required.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with fuel suppliers, transportation providers, storage operators, and airport service partners.

Lead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with key service providers.

Drive improvements in service levels, reliability, and cost efficiency across the supply chain.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Operations Managers.

Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Support succession planning and talent development initiatives across the Supply organization.

Share best practices and encourage operational excellence across regional teams.

Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation fuel, transportation, and regulatory requirements.

Support regional Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) initiatives and compliance obligations.

Participate in audits and regulatory reporting activities.

Maintain the highest standards of operational governance and risk management.

Lead regional operating and budgeting activities.

Monitor performance against budget and forecast targets.

Provide regular business updates to senior leadership.

Support long-term capacity planning and strategic growth initiatives.

Demonstrated leadership experience developing and coaching high-performing teams.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Fluent English and French communication skills.

Aviation fuel supply experience.

Knowledge of airport operations and into-plane services.

Exposure to commodity pricing, fuel markets, or risk management.

Understanding of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) regulations and mandates.

Experience working across multiple European markets.
